Editorial Review: Due to hygiene issues, this product is non-returnable! The Real-Ease Neck and Shoulder Relaxer is a scientifically contoured headrest designed to let you deeply relax. Doctor Riter's Real-Ease is the most advanced cervical neck support in the world. It is so unique that it's patented. It is totally non-toxic and is the simplest, least expensive way to deeply relax your tired, sore neck and shoulders. So why do so many people suffer from neck, head and shoulder discomfort anyway? The musculature of the neck and shoulders is responsible for holding our head erect. In addition, essential sensory mechanisms of our life, i.e. eyes, ears, nose are all located in the head. When our necks are tight or jaws clenched, we set up a pattern of chronic spasms and tightness in all the muscles of the neck and shoulders. Good for relaxing, 2008-06-19
I bought this hoping to reduce the number of chiropractor visits I make. Sadly, this did not help much. It does help relax the head & neck & shoulder muscles. Which after along day typing at a computer - can be a welcome relief.
I wouldn't say this product does anything beyond aiding in muscle relaxation. It didn't do anything to help when I need a real adjustment from the chiropractor.
So if you want something to help those tight shoulder & neck muscles at the end of a long day, this will help. I wouldn't use it for any other purpose.

Relaxing, 2008-06-06
I found this product to be relaxing, but not a cure from back or neck pain. It might be more beneficial if made from more heavy duty products and redesigned slightly. Despite, these shortcomings, I will use the product at times for its limited benefits.

Not as good as I'd hoped, 2008-05-10
This is comfortable, but it doesn't seem to reduce stress/tension as advertised. Still, a cheap alternative to the chiropractor.

TAKE IT WITH YOU...., 2008-05-01
I got one of these for my wife when took a hard dive onto the living room floor while cleaning some curtains.... She was in much pain and this little device was the best thing we found for alleviating it.
Over the years we BOTH have come to depend on it and it always faithfully gets rid of pent-up stress, especially in the neck, jaw, and back. Indeed, we don't travel without it now.
One word of advice; be sure to be patient with this device; it needs time to work - 10 minutes at a minimum IMO. And if you are wondering about quality consider this - yes, the materials are worth a LOT less than the finished product but balancing that is the fact that there is definitely enough quality there to get the job done. If the manufacturer would tweak it by making the base a little wider - say by 1 to 1.5 inches - and providing a pair of washable covers - this product would be a grand slam!

Not as good as I hoped, 2008-03-31
Probably pretty nice for some people, but too pricey to buy for hoping it works.
Also rubs on your vertebrae and didn't do anything for my neck after use.
